Both. With overnight sitting, Sissy sleeps at your home so it's lived-in day and night. With daily check-ins, she comes by once or twice a day. Extended stays are overnight sits of 7 nights or more at a lower rate.
How do you get into my home?
Whatever you're most comfortable with: keys handed over at the meet & greet, a lockbox, or a smart lock code. Keys are never labeled with your address and codes are never shared. Keys go back to you, or stay in the lockbox, when the sit ends.
Do you do a meet & greet first?
Always, and it's free. Sissy comes by for about 30 minutes before your first booking to meet your pets, learn the routines and walk through the house: alarm, thermostat, water shut-off and anything else that matters.
What do you do if something goes wrong at the house?
You'll agree on a plan before you leave, with your emergency contacts, preferred plumber or handyman, your vet and the nearest 24-hour animal hospital. If something happens, Sissy handles the urgent part first (like shutting off the water or getting your pet to the vet) and contacts you right away.
Do you care for pets too?
Yes. Dogs, cats, birds, small animals and fish are all welcome. Pet care is included with overnight and extended stays, and is a $20/day add-on with daily check-ins.
How often will I get updates?
At least once a day, with photos. Many clients like a morning and evening text. Just say how often you'd like to hear from her, and whether you prefer text or email.
Are you insured?
Yes. Sissy is insured and bonded, and can share proof of coverage at the meet & greet.
Can I leave a list of house rules?
Please do. Shoes off, thermostat settings, rooms that are off-limits, which plants need extra water: write it all down and Sissy will follow it.
How do I pay?
Nothing is charged when you request a booking. Once your sit is confirmed, you'll get a simple invoice by text or email and can pay with Venmo, Zelle, Cash App or card.
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancel for free up to 7 days before your start date. Within 7 days, the first night (or first day of visits) is charged. Holiday bookings need 14 days' notice.
